After 9 months, I am pretty confident in sharing this negative review. Our grandson loves the jeep, it is the perfect size, and really cute. Other reviewers have commented on the poor steering, and it seems to be a design problem. I took the unit apart to see if perhaps something was bent, or if something could be modified to improve the left turn—which pretty much does not exist.

I took the unit apart to see if perhaps something was bent, or if something could be modified to improve the left turn—which pretty much does not exist. I did not open the sealed steering mechanism inside the jeep, where it seems the steering problem is. The jeep does go forward, backwards, and turns right. The only way I have found to use it is to let it run in a tight right turn circle. I sit and press the remote controls continuously for right turn and forward, low speed. My grandson sits in the jeep and goes in circles to the right. I would have been better off spending more on a better car. This one is nearly perfect, but the steering weakness makes it marginally useful. The Bluetooth radio works well. The materials are good. Solid, lightweight, and two doors. It is a little tight for our grandson, but he's 90th percentile for size. The charge it holds is OK. In short, if the steering was fixed, it would be a great jeep.

This was the best gift for my son! Set up wasn't too difficult, the size works well for us since we store it in the house and didn't want it taking up too much space. The battery life is great. My mom lives about a quarter mile from our house and my son always wants to drive over to see his grandma. He'll do like 6 laps at a time just so he can wave to her and honk his horn. The longest we've gone is on a 3-mile walk and it didn't die. I'm impressed that it didn't die on us by the end of 3 miles. The "fast" speed setting is perfect for us as it matches a comfortable walking pace. The slow speed is way too slow, but great for when we get to an open area so he can practice steering on his own. The remote is great. I have my son control the gas, and I just use the side to side buttons to help control the steering. The radio works well, as do the headlights. It has gotten daily use since it was delivered. I imagine he'll continue fitting well in the jeep for a couple more years. I'm very happy with this purchase, and so is my son!

A lot of the times it starts blinking out of nowhere and I have to turn the jeep off and back on so it would reconnect and work again. Bluetooth works nice but the volume is not very loud at all unfortunately. Putting it together took roughly 50 minutes. The low speed I can comfortably walk next to him and the faster speed lets him get a decent distance ahead. He just loves riding around. If the remote issues were fixed honestly my review would be a much happier one. He loves the jeep and I'm glad I got it especially for the price. If he's happy I'm happy!

I was worried the 12v battery wouldn't last long enough. I am using it for my 14 month old because she loves riding around and just being outside. I took it uphill (gently sloping) and it did great. I took it up a really steep hill and it also did okay coming down hill. I had to use the lowest speed setting so it didn't go flying down the hill. I did figure 8s around the yard just trying to run the battery dead and it wouldn't die.

For the price I paid it's been great. My daughter absolutely loves it and so do I. It might need a better battery if it's for an older kid because they have so much energy but for her it's perfect. I also attached a baby mirror to the back so I could see behind us while walking. It is loud when indoors and pretty loud outside on gravel because the tires are plastic. However as long as you're observant when outside it's perfectly okay. Definitely recommend!
The jeep runs great and my daughter has had many rides in it at this point. Having a remote to control is perfect for younger ones before they understand it. The battery it comes with is good but could be upgraded for longer run time. You can buy a larger 12V battery that lasts a very long time for a reasonable price and it fits perfectly in this vehicle. I added that upgrade, you just unscrew the back rest and seat, plug in the new one and you are done. Very simple and no special knowledge needed.

I have two toddlers, 2 and 4. They both fit tightly in the car together but because the price was so nice, we bought them each their own. The 2 yr old cannot drive it on his own so the remote control feature is awesome for him. The 4 yr old loves connecting his Bluetooth stereo to his favorite music while he cruises. We even rigged it up to pull a wagon and the jeep pulls the wagon with the 2 yr old in it just fine, while the 4yr old drives. Battery life is good. They can play on them off and on all day with one charge. The only issue I have is the grill guard pulls out if you try to lift the car by it. Other than that this is by far the best battery operated car I have ever purchased starting with my 1st child in 1998 and going through the ages with 2 more in 2003, 2012. So I have had multiple toys through the years. This one is smaller than some of the others but its 12v has more power and is sturdy on its base. No tipping or tilting during turning noted. I would recommend this item for toddlers ages 2.5-5 yrs of age. The speed is a little fast for younger kids. The assembly was fairly easy and done in less than an hour. I am not a fan of the pre-programmed music but with a real working radio and Bluetooth capable, it is no problem. The quality seems just as good as the well known brands but with a better charging access. It survived the record breaking lows and didn't miss a beat. Great toy!

Absolutely love this item! Here we are a couple months after purchase, and the 4-wheel suspension definitely makes a huge difference with how well it pulls through terrain. I have a really bumpy yard, lots of holes and hills, and this rarely gets stuck. Also, the battery life compared to most is awesome, it lasts way longer than other ride-on cars I have gotten in the past. It will easily last 1-2 hours running on the high speed option with the Bluetooth radio hooked up. Also, unlike other ride-ons I have bought this one did not break entirely after being left out in the rain (we forgot to put it in the garage one night). I would still recommend keeping it somewhere dry if you can help it, as it did take a couple days to dry out and a recharge to begin working again. And the battery life works just as well as it did before the rain scenario. My ONLY complaint is this is much smaller than it appears in the advertised photos. My 3 & 1 year old manage to squeeze inside together, but it's a tight fit. I definitely wouldn't classify it as a true two seater. Nonetheless, worth every penny.

This jeep is extremely small. Its advertised that it can hold up to 66 lbs. My kid weights 65 lbs and barely fits. His knees are bent and sticking out the sides. Its also cheap plastic. Some of the pieces are misformed and dont fit right. The directions are not very clear either. If you have a small kid then this will work fine. Otherwise look elsewhere.
My daughter is 4, but the size of a 2 year old and she loves this! Not really big enough for two kids unless they are under 2. This is going to be perfect for years to come.
We loved this jeep! Great quality, working lights, fun engine sounds & nice Bluetooth radio. Powerful dual motor with fun speed. Got this jeep for my daughter's birthday and she adores it. Such a great gift choice; you won't regret buying this jeep!
Works as advertised. Only change I would make is that the vehicle does sudden starts and stops jerking the driver a little. I think ok for little older kids but for 3 year olds sort of makes them hesitant and a little scared at first. Seems to go through level grass just fine. Plenty of power. Remote control is a great feature.
My son loves this jeep so much! He's been having so much fun driving around in the front driveway and yard. And, he really likes that he can play whatever music he wants by connecting with my phone. It was easy to assemble and seems to have a good battery life. One of the hubcaps was malformed and couldn't be attached. I emailed their customer service and they immediately sent me a replacement in the mail.
